Meet and greet at the airport in Casablanca. Then transfer to your hotel. If you are arriving early enough we recommend the overnight in Rabat.
Morning transfer to Fes. We will travel through the agricultural area, the plains of Morocco. We will visit Volubilis, 27 A.C. A Roman ruins and have some time to walk along the impressive and still intact mosaic work. Then transfer to Fez, the most Imperial City of Morocco. Your ryad awaits you with grand splendor. (B)
Visit the largest medina in Morocco and in Africa. Your guide will meet you at the morning and head for walking tour of the old city. We will visit all the palaces and special places here. Fes was the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco and has multiple facets to explore. (B)
Travel to Ifrane, the Swiss mountain like village and the cedar forests of Azrou where you might see Morocco apes living in natural habitat. Journey into the Midle Atlas Mountains and the only tunnel in Morocco and through the Valley of Ziz with miles of palm trees and high cliffs. Heading for the Deep South and the Sahara of Morocco with its sand dunes and camels. Night in auberge by the sand dunes (B,D)
Here in the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoy the panoramic views of black volcanic rock on the hamad or plains, the bright blue sky, the green palm trees, white salt beds, mirages of water, golden shifting dunes. Possible visit to Rissani for the 3-times week Nomad market. View the lake in Merzouga where sometimes there are pink flamingos (November -March). Or just have lunch with Berber family and friends before your camel trek into the sand dunes and night in the desert. (B,D)
Travel through small Berber and Arab villages to Todra Gorge. The Todra Gorge is spectacular oasis of 300 meter tall walls that are 20 meters away from each other. Then follow the road of Thousand Kasbahs passing teh Skoura Oasis and Rose Valley to Ouarzazate, where we spend the night. (B,D)
Travel across the High Atlas of Morocco mountains on a dramatic drive curvy, winding road to Marrakech. The scenery is breathtaking over snow capped mountains, valleys dotted by Berber villages. We will visit several Kasbahs along the way. One of them Ksour of Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO protected. Then late afternoon arrival to Marrakech. (B)
Marrakech is called the Pearl of the South. It is an exciting and exotic city and worth a visit. Here on a guided walking tour we visit Arabic palaces, Saadian Tombs and old Koran school for a taste of Morocco culture and history. Visit the Souk where many guild artisans can be watched as they work.
The square Djemna el Fna with Berber musicians, snake charmers, fortunetellers, fire-eaters, storytellers is a must. (B)

Travel 3 hours to Essaouira, a coastal fishing town with a lovely beach and one of the charming medinas in Morocco. Smaller version than Marrakech with a lot of Portuguese history and influence. (B)
Travel along the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. We will make lunch at the picturesque town of Oualidia with beautiful Kasbah and blue lagoon. This city is known for its oysters. Then afternoon arrival to El Jadida, city that is under UNESCO protection and small walk along the medina will make us understand why. (B)
Transfer to the airport about 1 1/2 for the transfer
