Package Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouline - Fom Zquid - Erg Chigaga

Morning departure from Agadir for our desert adventure. The first stop will be in the city of Taroudante to view the old ramparts. Then we pass the saffron-producing town of Taliouine. Later we reach the city of Taznakht, the Berber town known for handmade carpets. Then along the Anti Atlas mountains to Foum Zquid. From here we set on off-road to the immense sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. Where we enjoy picturesque sunset and about a one-hour camel ride.

Night in tents, breakfast, and dinner

Day 2: Erg Chigaga - M'hamid - Zagora - Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, we set to M'hamid via different off-road. After reaching the paved road in M'hamid we follow parts of the Draa Valey to Agdz. We will be passing some of the most beautiful stretches of the valley, especially beyond Zagora. THen later we reach the city of Ouarzazate and the famous Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou (B, D)

Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou - Agadir

The morning we visit this impressive Kasbah from the 16th century. Walk around the streets of the old town for the most amazing views. Then later departure back to Agadir along the Souss Valley.

With Marrakech, Agadir is a very important center for tourism to Morocco, and the city is the most important fishing port in the country. Business is also booming with the export of citrus fruit and vegetables produced in the fertile valley of Souss.

Souk El Had

This is the largest market in the region. It has about 6,000 small shops. It is surrounded by walls and has several entrances. It is organized into different sectors: furniture, crafts, clothing, vegetables, meat, spices, etc. It is possible to find all kinds of handicrafts and traditional decorations.

The walls have been restored and the interior design is being finished.

La Médina

La Médina is a handicrafts space created in 1992 by the Italian artist Coco Polizzi, at Ben Sergao, a district close to Agadir 4.5 kilometers (2.8 mi) from the city center. Built using techniques of traditional Berber construction, it is a kind of small open-air museum, on five hectares, and home to artisan workshops, a museum, individual residences, a small hotel, and an exotic garden.
