Welcome to Morocco and transfer to the riad.
Depart from Marrakech and journey to Setti Fatma, home of the source of Ourika Valley river. Here if you are interested we recommend short hike along the river to visit one of the waterfalls. Then we continue to the picturesque valley of Ourika where we have lunch. Possible visit of the local souk that takes place on Mondays. Then we travel along the mountains scenery to another village of Asni where we spend the night. (B,D)
Awake in the Berber town of Asni and head to Imlil, a rural town with an old west feel that sits on the foot of the Toubkal Mountain, the highest peak of North Africa. From there, stop briefly to rest at Ouirgane Valley before heading to Tin Mal. The site of former royal treasury boats mosque built during the Almohad dynasty in the12th Century. It is one of the mosque that even Non Muslim cna enter. End your day with journey through the Tizi Test Pass, the second highest road pass in the Atlas, on your way to Taliouline (B,D)
Morning departure from the safrron capital of Taliouline to rustic wayside Village of Tin Fat, arrive at one of the South's most important crossroads, the town of Taznakht. In country of beautiful carpets, every Moroccan knowns that some of the best come from Taznakht. Here we visit the cooperative to view making of carpets. Then we continue to Ouarzazate where we spend the night (B,D)
This morning we depart to the nearby Ksour of Ait Ben Haddou. This site often use in the films produces in the Atlas, the sprawling fortification of Ait Ben Haddou. Explore this impressive ksour and then head onto Telouet, once the only passage through this part of the Atlas. The now crumbling place and former residence of the mighty Pasha Gloudai can still be seen here. Then follow the Morocco's highest road pass, Tizi Tichka to reach Marrakech for the night. (B)
Explore Marrakech on a guided walking tour of the city. Your visit include the Koutoubia Moque, the Bahia Palance and the ruins of the Baadi Place, tombs of Saadian Kings, the Ali Ben Yousseff Madrasa or the Koranic school and many of the souks where workers and craftsmen produce the artisan goods in leather, metal and wood. The tour of Marrakech could not be complete without visit of the Dema El Fna Square (B)
