Morning collection from your hotel/riad at 8am and head towards the Hight Atlas Mountains. The Atlas mountains are dominant mountains and the drive across them is dramatic offering many photographing opportunities. We will see many Berber villages whose homes are made of mud dwellings and completely merges into the mountain. The splendid views will follow our journey to Ait Ben Haddou.
Ait Ben Haddou is an old Ksar from the 16th century and declared by UNESCO as the world heritage sight. The setting of the Kasbah is spectacular and no surprise why it has been chosen by many movie makers to film big movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and many others.
Then the journey continues to Ouazazate and Agdz where we descend into the Draa Valley. This picturesque valley is lined by many palm groves mainly dates and Sub Saharan small villages. We then arrive to Zagora where we began our camel trek to the tented Nomad camp where we spend the night in the tents.
Overnight in tents, breakfast and dinner
Waking up early we welcome the new day with sunrise followed by breakfast. Then we return back to meet our driver on the camels to take us back to Marrakech. We will have plenty of time to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery and possible stop at one of the local markets.
