Day tour to Todra Gorge
Pick up from your hotel in Ouarzazate at 8H30and head to Skoura Oasis via road known as Thousand Kasbahs. It is because it is lined by many crumbling Kasbahs that we will view along the way. We will visit one of them in Skoura called Amerhidil. This Kasbah is well known and recognize in Morocco as it is featured in the Moroccan currency. Then our route take us to the Valley of Roses to see and possible sample the locally produced rose cosmetics and highly priced in Morocco. We will be traveling along many small villages and green oasis that creates paradise for any photographer till we reach the Todra Gorge. The walls of the gorge are cut in the walls of the mountains reaching 300 meters high and at their most narrow part are only 20 meters apart. Many local Berber people can often seen in the gorge. Possible short trek in the region before returning back to Ouarzazate.
