Culinary Tour Of Morocco

Day 1: Arrival-Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco, and after greeting,g transfer to your riad to settle in. (B)

Day 2: Cooking Class - Introduction to Moroccan Cuisine and Souks of Marrakech

You will have breakfast, and then at about 10 am, we head into the souks (the open-air market) in Marrakech with your cook to do your grocery shopping for the day's meal. We will buy the freshest products for your meal and experience how Moroccans do their daily grocery shopping.

Then later we return to the riad and prepare the first tagine of the week. Learn how to make Moroccan salad and tajine. Then later in the afternoon, enjoy your preparation and relax

Day 3: Marrakech - Essaouira - Cooking Class

Morning departure to the coastal town of Essaouira. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch on the water, and then in the afternoon we take a cooking class.

Day 4: Essaouira - Atlas Mountains

Morning at your leisure to explore Essaouira on your own. In the afternoon, depart for the Atlas Mountains to stay on the mountain road.

Day 5: Atlas Mountains-Local Market Tour of Village

Depending on the day of the week, possibility to visit the local souk where people from villages come to exchange products and buy fresh vegetables and meat. Then we prepare a Berber meal in our charming mountain riad.

Day 6: High Atlas - Marrakech

Have the morning to wander around the mountains. If you like, we can arrange a guide with mules to go for a short trek and then an afternoon transfer back to Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech-Walking Tour of the City

This morning, meet with your guide who will take you on a guided walking tour of the city

Day 8: Marrakech-Cooking Class Course

Free morning at leisure, and in the afternoon, take a cooking class with one of the professional chefs

Day 9: Marrakech-Departure

Transfer to the airport.
